We have been acknowledged by the Solar Impulse Foundation and are now a member of the World Alliance for being a climate data provider of climate projections for physical risk assessments.
The World Alliance for Efficient Solutions (WAES) is an initiative by the Solar Impulse Foundation that brings together the main actors in the field of clean technologies. As an independent global consortium, it aims to foster agile governance in the ecological transition and create a network connecting stakeholders, amplifying positive impacts, and addressing barriers to implementing efficient solutions. WAES is dedicated to pioneering a world where efficiency drives ecological balance and economic health, striving to bring together innovators, investors, and solution promoters to accelerate the adoption of clean and profitable solutions that tackle today's environmental challenge.
The Solar Impulse Foundation is an environmental non-profit project established in 2003 by Bertrand Piccard and André Borschberg in collaboration with the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne. The foundation gained recognition for its global flight in a solar-powered plane in 2016 and for awarding the Solar Impulse Efficient Solution label to 1000 solutions that are both profitable and environmentally beneficial. The label is given to solutions that align with specific sustainable development goals, including water, clean energy, industry, cities, and responsible consumption and production. The foundation aims to support the development and implementation of clean technologies, with a strong focus on profitable solutions that can help protect the environment.
